Greer Sinclair is a screenwriter and director whose work is informed by a background in theatre and her training as an actress, where she developed a rigorous ear for dialogue and character. 

 

She developed her filmmaking practice at Mount Holyoke College, Sarah Lawrence College, and SFAI, where she focused in film history while showing experimental work in gallery settings. 

 

She holds an M.F.A in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute.

Her writing on film and culture appears in Vanity Fair and Air Mail Weekly, among others. 

 

A seventh-generation native of California, she lives in Los Angeles.
